I am an artist who is always looking for the beauty of life. There is so much beauty all around us if you can still see it.
I want my art to be honest and transparant. I try to connect with you through my art and express my feelings. I try to speak through my art. Do you meet me half way?
I’m inspired by geometry, nature and beautiful, expressive and creative people but also by music, guitar music mostly. From all the big players Ana Vidovic inspires me the most. She is a phenomenal guitarist and what she has accomplished as an artist is seriously impressive to me. More than a thousand concerts, mostly solo all over the world is impressive. I learned a lot from her.
I like to spread some beauty and make you feel good with it. To accomplish that I make art in different styles…
- Acrylic paintings with bright colours, strong contrast, stark lines and geometric patterns. Sometimes I work on canvas but mostly on wooden panels. They radiate a certain positive energy and I only show you a part of something bigger. Your mind is set to work to see the bigger picture. Sometimes I use metallic paint that is reflecting. When you look at the paintings from different angles or the light changes you see the painting change.
- Charcoal or graphite drawings from beautiful and expressive people. I like to express their beauty in black and white and create beautiful light and shades that result in a balanced contrast. Drawing a portrait is one thing… Drawing someones character is a whole other ball game.
- Organic flowery patterns designed with a fineliner and coloured with colour pencils or water colour on paper. The fluent and bright colours are putting a smile on your face.
- Art wear. Some of my art is printed on fabric and turned into t-shirts and dresses so that you can shine in it in summertime!
